Volunteers must register each and every AYSO year.
The AYSO year runs from August 1 to July 31, so every volunteer must pre-register for the coming AYSO year (Fall 2009 and Spring 2010).
You must log on to AYSO National's registration web site and complete the volunteer registration form each AYSO year. If you are wondering why AYSO National requires all volunteers to register and take Safe Haven, please click on the following link:

If you registered in "eayso" last year and wish to pre-register on line again, your information will be saved, but you must update the information. (Note to returning volunteers: Once you have logged on, click on the blue word "Volunteer" on the top of the page. Then click on your name. Confirm you want to register again in Region 97 and the system will move you through about 7 pages. Update as you need to and be sure to answer all questions asked, including the disclaimer and the typing of your name near the end. ) You may not just print out a copy of last year's form, because this will not place you in the pre-registered data base for the current year. Once you have updated the information, print out two copies of the two-page volunteer registration form, and sign both copies. Mail the updated signed pre-registration forms to:

A volunteer is not considered registered until the signed pre-registration forms are received and processed by the region.
Once your pre-registration forms have been processed, you will be able to view your volunteer status, certification status, and volunteer id# in eayso by using the link below.

Region 97 requests that all volunteers complete "Safe Haven for Coaches".
Completing Safe Haven
Safe Haven should be completed on line through AYSO National. In order to take this class you will need to know your AYSO Volunteer #. If this is your first year as a volunteer, your volunteer # will not be assigned until your pre-registration form is processed by our Volunteer Registrar. If you completed the volunteer registration process in previous years, you will already have an AYSO volunteer #. You can view this number through eayso.
